"Bringing out the Best in Kids" - Golf Tournament


As a way to contribute to an important cause, directly benefit the youth of our community, and have fun at the same time, the Optimist Club of Hillsboro is sponsoring its fourth annual Golf Tournament on Friday, September 24th 2010 at Meriwether National Golf Club. The event will have the following format:

  • Adult Players event open to Youth Players.
  • 18 Holes in scramble format with REAL shotgun start.
  • Form a teams of 4 players or join in another team of 4.
  • Check-in at 11am.
  • Shotgun start at 1pm.
  • 1 Golf Cart for every 2 Players.
  • Range Balls.
  • Bag lunch provided for all golfers.
  • Awards Dinner at the Meriwheter Club House.
  • Door Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place teams, KP, and Longest Drive for Men & Women on designates holes.
  • Putting contest for half the $ pot.
  • Mulligans and Strings can be purchased.

Adult Player $100.00
Youth Player (18 years & under) $75.00
Player fees include green fees, one cart per 2 players, box lunch, dinner at the Club House
